Our favourite tongue-in-cheek banger maker and drag artist and Lynks has returned with a staunchly self-deprecating new single. The candidly titled 'Everyone's Hot (And I'm Not)' presents a seemingly endless list of disparate comparisons that light-heartedly encapsulates our toxic culture of constantly comparing ourselves to others. Lines likes 'Everyone's a model, they're all Brazilian, I'm a librarian, from Wigan" and "my bread roll doesn't taste good to the ducks" insight involuntarily smiles from anyone with a dry, British sense of humour before veering off into a melodic yet downbeat interlude that tricks listeners into a more serious frame of mind, just for a second. Quickly abandoning such a melancholic moment, Lynks laughs it off and jumps straight back into the intensely upbeat ending.
